As the Iraq war continues, death toll seems unending. More Iraqi and American soldiers’ lives are wasted due to the ongoing crises. How many more lives are we counting to falter until we say that the war is finally over? Are we not sick and...

truly its sad for both Iraqi and American soldiers’ families. Recently I happened to see a pic of an American soldier biding goodbye to her 5 year old daughter and got so depressed. just hope and pray that violence ceases very soon!

This is the price of the war which the Iraqi people and American soldiers are paying, and paying they are with their precious lives. This war, as i always have emphasised, on this and various other fora, could have been completely avoided. What is indeed very disheartening is that the United States just doesn’t seem to learn from its previous mistakes and i really hope that atleast henceforth, the United States stops invading countries under the garb of fighting global terror. Though the damage has been done, it would be very intelligent of the Americans to restore some semblance of governance in both Iraq and Afghanistan and leave the two nations to deal with their internal problems by themselves, but not without continuing to support the Iraqi’s and Afghans to rebuild their nation. This means that America should provide massive aid and make sure that the aid reaches the ones who need it most, for quite some time to come till the two suffering nations muster up to their feet. I am afraid this is the price the American tax payers should pay to counter their government’s foolish actions.

Good news for Obama and bad news for Clinton couple. Hillary Clinton is going to pay the price for decisions taken by Bill Clinton by supporting George Bush on the issue of Iraq war. Its advantage Obama..

It is difficult to assess the impact of the killings of 4,000 Us soldiers in Iraq on US politics and US presidential campaign but the recent deaths of soldiers would definitely boost the idea to withdraw the US military from Iraq soon.

This is really a sad moment for US military. The United States lost 58,000 soldiers in the ten-year fighting in Vietnam till 1975. It lost 54,000 in the three-year Korean war that started in 1950. And now its Iraq and the loss of 4000 US troops. US should stop killing its own soldiers now.

Don't count it as the deaths of 4000 US troops. More than 29,000 other US troops have been wounded in past five years in Iraq. US and its allies troops killed killed tens of thousands of Iraqis in the same period. 175 British troops and 134 troops from other US allies lost their lives in the Iraq war.

United States is already occupied with serious domestic economic problems these days. The Iraq war and the presence of US troops in Iraq have also become a issue of debate in the presidential campaign. Both the Democratic candidates - Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama - have demanded for early withdrawal of US troops. The graph of Bush's popularity is going down and down across the country.
